StorehousePrep ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the StorehousePrep application.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile photo (if provided via Google or Apple sign-in).

App Data: Information you enter into the app, including supply inventory, family drill records, garden plans, and community posts, is stored in your account.

Device Information: We may collect basic device information such as device type, operating system, and browser type for app optimization purposes.

Location Data: If you use the Rally Map feature, the app requests access to your device's GPS location and compass heading. This data is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to our servers.

Payment Information: If you subscribe to StorehousePrep Pro, payment is processed by Stripe (web) or Apple/RevenueCat (iOS). We receive your subscription status and a customer identifier but never see or store your credit card number or payment details.

Newsletter: If you opt in to our newsletter, your email address is shared with EmailOctopus, our email service provider, solely for delivering newsletter communications.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the StorehousePrep service
To authenticate your identity and secure your account
To sync your data across devices
To enable community features (posts, marketplace listings)
To improve app performance and user experience

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored using Google Firebase, which provides enterprise-grade security including encryption in transit and at rest. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Firebase Authentication — for secure sign-in (Google, Apple, Email)
Cloud Firestore — for data storage and sync
Google Fonts — for typography (no personal data collected)
Stripe — for web payment processing
RevenueCat — for iOS in-app purchase management
EmailOctopus — for newsletter delivery (opt-in only)
CoinGecko, Metals.live, BLS.gov — for live commodity price data (read-only, no personal data sent)

We do not use any third-party analytics or advertising trackers. There is no Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar tracking on StorehousePrep.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and associated data
Export your data at any time

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Children's Privacy

StorehousePrep is designed for families but is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us immediately.

8. Offline Data

StorehousePrep works offline. Data entered while offline is stored locally on your device and synced to our servers when connectivity is restored.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice within the app. Continued use of StorehousePrep after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
